Year at Tampereen Vuokra-asunnot Oy as a Marketing Assistant
At the beginning of 2022 I started my new job at Tampereen Vuokra-asunnot Oy as Marketing Assistant. I worked as a maternity leave substitute for little over a year and my main responsibilities were planning and creating content for TVA's (Tampereen Vuokra-asunnot Oy) main social media channels which were Facebook and Instagram. In the year 2023 I created more than 260 posts to social media such as photos and short videos. I also managed paid social through Meta Business Suite on a weekly basis. In addition, I wrote blog posts monthly to TVA's blog and the topics varied from interior design ideas to tips and tricks for cleaning as well as taking care of the apartment and much more! In addition, I was so lucky to take part in updating TVA's website, brochures and creating new visual templates for reporting. One of the biggest projects was to design the visual base for TVA's ESG-report and i have to admit it was very rewarding to see it finally come together and be posted to TVA's website. I also got the chance to start a marketing project for new apartment building that will be ready for new tenants in the summer of 2024. The marketing project included creating website for the new site as well as planning a radio commercial, deciding on marketing style and brand with the help of advertising agency and maintaining visibility of the new site in TVA's social media channels.
I also planned and organized events such as yearly tenant days. In September 2023 the tenant days were held at Korkeasaari Zoo and the event was a hit. In total almost 150 tenants took part and enjoyed a day at the zoo. My organizing and planning skills also came in handy when it was time to make marketing plan and budget for the year 2024. My day to day tasks also included smaller administrative tasks such as reviewing and handling invoices, employee benefits as well as office supplies.
All in all, I learnt so much more about marketing as well as working with different partners in the media field. I am very grateful of the opportunity TVA provided as well as the knowledge I was able to learn during my employment. Now I am ready for new adventures with new tricks and tips in my sleeve!
